My Philosophy
Health is not just the absence of disease. It's a multidimensional state of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being. I meet clients where they are, with unconditional positive regard, and help them navigate possible solutions for obstacles they may encounter in their lives. Working collaboratively from a strengths-based perspective, I want to support clients in building upon their pre-existing skills and knowledge of themselves to improve their self-awareness and their overall wellbeing. Every person who steps foot in my office is unique, and that’s why I use an integrative approach to best meet my client’s individual needs.
My lived experience as a neurodivergent, queer, polyamorous, ciswoman has given me an understanding of intersectional oppression and vulnerability. I know the feelings associated with not ‘fitting in’ with society’s messages about what is ‘normal’. This has motivated me to work with my clients from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and sex-positive (including kink-friendly and sex worker allied) framework. I value authentic connection with my clients and believe it is an honour to support you throughout your journey.

I recognize my privilege as a white settler descendant on Treaty 1, the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Métis peoples. As such, I believe it is my duty to be an Indigenous ally. This requires ongoing effort and learning of the cultures, languages, histories, intergenerational trauma, and oppression faced by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. I am committed to reconciliation and equity, in and out of therapy.
About Me
Having always been driven to support people when making the choice to improve upon themselves, I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2018 at the University of Manitoba and am still a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Registered Yoga Teacher. After a year of working in the fitness industry and realizing that my favourite part of my job was less about the exercise and more about helping my clients overcome their struggles, I completed my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My background in human movement and biology, as well as my interest in sex and relationships, drove me to pursue a certificate in Holistic Sex Therapy, and I am now an AASECT - Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Canadian Counsellor.

When I’m not in the office, I can typically be found being active, whether outside, at the gym or in the yoga studio. I love hiking, camping, and being in water - as nature gives me space to relax and recharge. As much as I love movement and being social, I also value my downtime, which typically consists of tending to my collection of indoor plants, meditating, reading books or the occasional video game.
